How does one steal mountains?

Skier Wysz (6:33:09 PM): well i'm only in the initial planning stages, so if you could find out which state would give the smallest resisitance, that would be helpful. i want to steal some of the rockies, so we're talking western states/provinces

A few minutes into the conversation...

Skier Wysz (6:35:20 PM): you see we are going to just take them, and move them to the greater philadelphia area
ironviking 60 (6:35:28 PM): ok
ironviking 60 (6:35:34 PM): any reason?
Skier Wysz (6:36:03 PM): um mountains are cool, and i don't feel like driving two hours to the poconos just for a lousy 5 minute ski run

And he still doesn't seem to understand:

Skier Wysz (6:36:34 PM): no. i want genuine rockies
Skier Wysz (6:36:40 PM): WE MUST STEAL THEM
ironviking 60 (6:36:54 PM): alright

But he finally offers a practical suggestion:
