Ughghghghh. But seriously, buy it from Amazon. $22 off.

Abstract:
This probably isn't a very wise time to complain about .Mac and referrals considering the fact that I am being evaluated for their affiliate program (for the second time), but I'm not smart, so it's okay.

Body:
I finally got the chance to refer someone to .Mac, and they've cancelled the referral program. Also, I can't sign into iChat using my .Mac name. Ugh.

I am enjoying my larger iDisk, however. Buy .Mac from Amazon.com, even though it doesn't really make sense to have the retail box. If you don't want to download Backup, then the box is good, but they're not shipping Backup 3 yet, so I guess the only reason to buy it from Amazon would be if you wanted to wrap it up and give it as a gift. Or maybe Amazon.com has it cheaper. Or maybe you have a gift certificate. I dunno.

Oh, I know! I just clicked on the link, and it looks like you can get it from Amazon for 78 bucks (add it to your cart to see the price), at least as of this writing. That's actually pretty good, and I'm not just saying it because I want my referral fee. Apple is selling it for $99, but they don't get a link because I'm not an Apple Store affiliate.

One more link, then I'll leave you alone until the next sales pitch: You can get $30 off the Family Pack at Amazon.com. It's $150 over there instead of the usual $180.

Obviously, make sure you check the prices before placing your order. As of this writing, both the single client and the Family Pack versions qualify for free shipping. This is the third paragraph in a row starting with the letter "O." That rhymed. I'm awesome.
