Away messages.

Body:

To everyone who has "Thankgiving" or "Turkey Day" or something even worse like "The Day of the Turkey" as their away message, thank you for reminding me what day it is. Without your reminder via my buddy list, I would not have known that today is Thanksgiving.

I'm not saying that "Happy Thanksgiving" is bad. That is a nice message, not an unnecessary announcement.
