Living in Two States is Rough

Geeky complaint.

Body:
In a continuing effort to fill up my PCI slots, I purchased a FW 800 card from The Computer Forum so I can take full advantage of my Lacie d2 drive. The installation was predictably painless on my Quicksilver G4 (still the best-looking Mac tower in my opinion) and it is recognized by System Profiler. Unfortunately, I was unable to fully test the card because I forgot to bring the power adapter home for the Lacie drive! I won't go back to Baltimore until a week from Monday, so I have over a week of waiting, and can only run my nightly backups to my iPod.
