Attention Geeks: The Wysz needs your expertise!Abstract: Body: If you can make this page
display properly in IE for Windows while still retaining its current
compatibility with Safari, Firefox, and Opera on Mac OS X, please send me a
working version of the HTML file. I do not want the QuickTime files to be
changed unless they are causing the problem. A screenshot of the page's correct
(desired) appearance is here.
Right now, at least on my roommate's computer, IE is not displaying the video properly, as it has cropped the sides. If you are using IE for Windows and do not have this problem, please let me know. Also, I'd like to know if the problem occurs in Firefox. If you help me out, I'll link to your site or mention your name or something. Thanks. Update 10-4-2005: Brendan Houle of the Johns Hopkins Vocal Chords a cappella group informed me that I had the width and height values swapped in the object tag. The page should now display correctly in IE for Windows. In return for his help, I am advertising the next performance of the JHU Vocal Chords: A Family Weekend performance! Friday, October 8th at 8 p.m. Shriver Hall Be there! Update 10-5-2005: Friday, October 8th has been moved to Saturday. The Vocal Chords, an a cappella group at Johns Hopkins, apologize for any inconvenience. Posted: Monday - October 03, 2005 at 02:49 PM |
