Stanford gets own iTunes Music Store

Abstract:
Now I want one. Wysz on iTunes.

Body:
Stanford has its own iTunes Music Store. Very interesting. I wonder which, if any, schools will follow. This could be a good venue for music conservatories such as JHU's Peabody to distribute their music. It looks like everything is free right now, and I'm assuming that the lack of paid content is part of the deal.

With HTTPS and the phrase "StanfordPublic" in the URLs, it looks like it is set up to allow only Stanford affiliates to access some content.

One of the initial offerings is Steve Jobs' 2005 Stanford commencement speech.
