This blog doesn't normally comment on current events, but I noticed that like Amazon, Apple, via the iTunes Music Store, is now providing a way to donate to the American Red Cross (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies from the non-US stores) for a simple way to assist in the Tsunami relief efforts.

So, if you have an Amazon account, go to their website and look for the Red Cross logo on the front page. If you have iTunes, click here or launch the Music Store and look for the Red Cross logo on the main page. It's easy, so give it a try.

Please note that as of this posting, donations made via iTunes will not deduct from your gift card/certificate balance if you have one; they will be charged to your credit card.
