Abstract:

$20 for receiving some junk mail? Not a terrible deal.

Body:

After canceling my Citi cards, I received letters confirming the closing of my account. Today, I received a $20 "refund check" for the credit balance on my account. I never put any money into it, so it must have been something that they give just for signing up. In any case, it's a real check and I'll deposit it next weekend. Hopefully I haven't already thrown out the check for the other card.
