Let The Season Begin

Abstract:
It's here!

Body:
As we all know, Thanksgiving is the holiday that was invented to give us a solid official beginning of the Christmas season. Thanksgiving has come and gone, so it's now acceptable to decorate and play Christmas music. I have TSO's new album playing right now. I'm going to wait until December to break out the Mannheim.

Candles are in the windows at home, and two trees are waiting outside. I need it to be break now. Two more weeks...

I saw The Polar Express on Saturday with Lauren, Meghan, and Emily. I heard from a few people before going that it wasn't supposed to be very good, but I was impressed. Most of the animation was amazing, with only a few scenes that had "they can do better than that" motion making the characters too unreal. The thing they could have easily fixed was the nerdy kid's voice. I know what they were going for, but he just didn't sound like a kid. The story of course was bound by the book and the genre, but it had enough to keep the film going. If you need to get in the spirit, go to the movie. As Meghan remarked, "Now I want it to start snowing."
