Mixed Feelings


Happy cause I'm going home, complaining cause I'm not on my way.

I couldn't decide if this post was for the "Happy" or "Complaints" category, but I did think about it, so I'm putting it in "Thinking." I am going home today, but instead of getting on the earliest train, I'm not leaving campus until 4:30. The reason is that at the beginning of the year, I purchased this "Entertainment Pass" for $30 that gives me discounts and priority seating for school events. Well, I haven't used it yet, since all of the events so far have conflicted with either my screening schedule or my habit of going home every weekend.

On Friday, October 17, there is a concert here by "Reel Big Fish", which I assume is a semi-known band of some sort. My entertainment pass gets me a ticket for $3 instead of $10 for other students. I will be here that weekend (since I don't have to go home three weekends in a row), so I decided I would buy a ticket. The catch is that I have to wait until 4:00 today to get it. Until then, I'm hanging out, doing laundry and other fun stuff when I could be home. Happy cause I'm going home, complaining cause I'm not on my way.
