My window


I wonder about the physical properties of my dorm's window.

I believe the glass in my window is porous. When the window is closed, I can hear things outside just as well as I can when the window is open. If I'm sitting at my desk when it's windy outside, I can feel a breeze from the closed window. It's like a screen, but it's glass, or at least I think it's glass.
