I know the blog is on hiatus, but


One more laundry thought.

I did some last minute laundry, and now as I was packing, I realized how unnecessary this whole sock-mating or pairing or whatever thing is. Why can't we keep them attached somehow with strings? Under normal conditions, one's feet are never more than a set maximum distance apart, as they are both connected to the same body, so it would be easy to figure out how long the string would need to be.

Tripping, entanglements, etc... I knew there were flaws in my plan. Never mind. I might think about this more on the train.
