{"id":1391,"date":"2009-10-16T19:25:39","date_gmt":"2009-10-17T02:25:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wysz.com\/wyszdom\/?p=1391"},"modified":"2009-10-16T19:25:39","modified_gmt":"2009-10-17T02:25:39","slug":"boss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wysz.com\/wyszdom\/2009\/10\/boss\/","title":{"rendered":"Boss&#8217;s Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier today, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nelsonbradley.com\/\">Nelson<\/a> informed me that it is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boss's_Day\">Boss&#8217;s Day<\/a>, a holiday on which, according to Wikipedia, employees should thank their bosses &#8220;for being kind and fair throughout the year.&#8221; I&#8217;m a pretty big fan of holidays, so I jumped right into it and left this note on my manager&#8217;s desk while he was away at a meeting:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1392\" src=\"http:\/\/wysz.com\/wyszdom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/note-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Thanks for being kind and fair throughout the year.\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now my boss didn&#8217;t get to where he is today with out a critical eye, and as you can see by some underlining added by my boss, he wasn&#8217;t content to simply take my note at face value when he discovered it. When he pinged me about the note, suspecting that I left it, I went over to his desk to discover him trying to decipher a secret message spelled out using the first letter of each word.
